TIFS Investigates: More refuted claims from self-styled journalist reveals true character

Writer: Dennis McCaslinDennis McCaslin

Rick and Tonya Fernandez, an innocent couple, have finally been vindicated after months of false accusations, misinformation, and defamation spread by tabloid podcaster Javier Leiva in his controversial “Stalker Series” on the Pretend Podcast.

The series, which attempted to portray the Fernandezes as dangerous criminals involved in stalking and harassment, has been widely criticized for its lack of evidence, unethical practices, and blatant manipulation of the facts.

The case involved a series of events involving accusations against and by doctors in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

In his podcast, Leiva painted a picture of Rick and Tonya as malicious figures responsible for orchestrating a series of criminal acts, including online harassment and threatening behavior. However, investigations into the allegations revealed that these claims were entirely baseless.

Leiva’s so-called “evidence” was quickly debunked by legal professionals and independent investigators, who found no proof that the couple had any involvement in the crimes for which they were being framed.

The most troubling aspect of this case is the role Leiva played in smearing the couple’s reputation. Sources close to the situation revealed that Leiva, known for his tabloid-style reporting and sensationalized storytelling, manipulated facts to fit his narrative, pushing the false claim that Rick and Tonya were involved in a nefarious campaign of harassment.

His series, marketed as “gripping true crime,” was nothing more than a series of unfounded accusations designed to boost his podcast’s ratings at the expense of innocent people.

Rick and Tonya Fernandez have endured years of undue stress, public shaming, and personal attacks as a result of Leiva’s reckless reporting. Their lives were turned upside down by false claims that could have had serious legal consequences had the truth not come to light. Thanks to their legal team and the support of friends and family, the Fernandezes were able to prove their innocence and expose Leiva’s unethical tactics.

Javier Leiva, who has a history of controversial reporting, has faced mounting criticism for his behavior, with many accusing him of prioritizing sensationalism over factual integrity. Legal experts have warned that his attempts to frame the Fernandezes may open him up to defamation lawsuits, given the damage he has caused to their reputation.

Today in Fort Smith urges the public to approach sensationalized podcast series like Leiva’s Pretend with caution, especially when it comes to sensitive matters involving real people’s lives. False narratives, such as the one constructed against the Fernandezes, can have devastating consequences.

The couple is now focused on rebuilding their lives and putting this painful chapter behind them, as the truth of their innocence is finally coming to light.
