Failure to register as a Sex Offender is an Arkansas Class Y Felony, punishable by 3-10 years in prison and.or a $10,000 fine.

The crime that got Hughes on the Sex Offender Register initially occurred sometime before 2017 because he was also arrested that year for Failure to Report.
