The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning at Chronic Outlaws, a medical marijuana dispensary located on Highway 112 near the Arkansas-Oklahoma state line.
The raid, which took place around 9 a.m., follows a year-long investigation into alleged illegal sales to individuals without valid medical marijuana cards.

According to Pocola Police Chief Wayne Barnett, the investigation began after multiple complaints surfaced over the past several years, accusing the dispensary of selling marijuana products to unauthorized customers.
“Any medical marijuana business has a responsibility to verify that customers hold a valid medical marijuana card,” Barnett stated. “Selling to those without one is illegal, and so is purchasing without it.”
The Pocola Police Department conducted controlled buys during the investigation and later partnered with OBN, which had also been monitoring the business. On Wednesday, authorities seized all marijuana and THC products from the premises and shut down the dispensary.

No arrests have been made at this time, but the case has been handed over to the LeFlore County District Attorney’s Office for review. Charges are expected to follow pending further analysis of the evidence.
In addition to the seizure, OBN has requested the revocation of the dispensary’s state license, and the Town of Pocola is actively working to revoke its business and occupational licenses.
Barnett added, “We believe there’s more illegal activity going on, and the investigation is far from over.”
Authorities will continue to determine whether the seized products were legally obtained and whether further violations occurred.
