According to the Arkansas State Police, a 38-year-old Garfield woman was killed Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle on US Highway 62 in Garfield.
Police say Sarah Holcomb died as a result of being hit by a 2002 Jeep that was driving east on US 62.
Witnesses said Holcomb stepped out in front of the Jeep and the driver was unable to avoid striking her.
Condition were clear and the road was drive st the time of the accident, which occurred at 8:19 p.m., according to the ASP.
