Bentonville man charged with Capital Murder in death of Gateway 39-year-old on Monday


A Bentonville man wanted for questioning in the Monday murder of a man in rural Benton County turned himself into police on Tuesday morning, according to booking information from the Benton County Sheriff's Office.


Police say 44-year-old Glenn Andrew Thatcher turned himself into deputies and is a person of interest in the capital murder of Robert Blau, 38, of Gateway. Benton County deputies found Blau's body Monday nigh after a top from the Bentonville Police Department.


Thatcher is currently incarcerated in the Benton County Jail on one charge of Capital Murder. His bond hearing will be held later in the week.
