ASP posts details of February 18 accident that claimed Fayetteville man 23 days later



The Arkansas State Police on Thursday posted a delayed death report concerning a accident that happened back in February in Washington County.

According to the ASP preliminary report that was posted Thursday morning, a 23-year-old Fayetteville man succumbed to his injuries on March 11th stemming from an accident that occurred on February 18, 2023 on West Martin Luther King Boulevard east of South Locust Avenue in Fayetteville.

Officials say Hunter Scott Hatcher was the driver of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee that was headed east on West Martin Luther King Boulevard. At approximately 5:31 p.m. on February 18, the Hatcher vehicle cross the center line and collided head-on with a 2016 westbound Honda Civic.


Hatcher was transported to Washington Regional Medical center in Fayetteville on the day of the crash. According to his obituary, Hatcher passed away Saturday March 11 in Fayetteville.
