Yell County man arrested on 25 counts of Possessing, Viewing or Distributing child pornography
A 30-year-old Yell County man with a history of minor theft and animal care related arrests in the past was arrested Sunday on a Pope County warrant on 25 separate counts of Possession, Viewing or Distributing Child Pornography according to booking information from the Pope County Sheriff Office.
Brandon Kyle Duncan faces the multiple Class C felony counts for crimes committed in Aug8ust of 2020, according to docket information from Arkansas Court Connect. A source tells Today in Fort Smith that Duncan left his telephone unlocked at the home of a friend who accessed the device and called police.
The case was filed with the Pope County Prosecutor's Office on July 7 of this year and the warrant for Duncan's was issued the same day.
Duncan remains incarcerated on a $50,000 bond that was set Monday morning in Pope County Circuit Court.
