Woman killed in Springdale after being struck by both vehicles in a US Highway 71 collision


The Arkansas State Police posted a report on Monday detailing the death of a woman who was struck last week by two vehicles on US Highway 71B after they collided in the northbound lane.
According to a preliminary report filed with the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, 42-year-old Sandra Lynn Holloway was killed after a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado moved from the inside lane and struck a 2016 GMC Sierra near the intersection of South Thompson and Southfield.
Holloway was a pedestrian on the west side of Highway 71 and was struck by both vehicles. The Springdale accident occurred at 9:49 p.m. last Thursday.
The Springdale Police Department worked the accident and listed clear weather and dry road conditions at the time of the accident.
