

The Fayetteville Police Department and Arkansas State Police is reporting the death of two young northwest Arkansas men in a one-vehicle accident on Wednesday on North Stephen Carr Memorial Boulevard in Fayetteville.
According to a preliminary report by the ASP, 20-year-old Christoper Robert Neal Jr. of Fayetteville was driving a 2012 Honda Elantra north on the stretch of road near the new Fayetteville Police Department when he lost control and exited the roadway to the west
The vehicle then struck a tree on the passenger side of the vehicle. Neal Jr. and a passenger - 18-year-old Jason Andrew Hopkins of Springdale, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the 2:08 am accident according to responding officer Justin George of the Fayetteville Police Department.
