Wednesday morning rollover on I49 in Springdale kills one, injures three

The Arkansas State Police says a 20-year-old Forrest City man died Wednesday after the after the 2007 Hyundai Sonata in which he was a passenger ran off the roadway and overturned overturned several times on Wednesday morning on Interstate 49 in within the Springdale city limits.

. Jaheim Brittnum was a passenger in the Sonata driven by 18-year-old Aquene Howell of Springdale, Around 6 am Wednesday morning near mile marker 79, the northbound car exited the roadway to the right, overturned several times and ejected the driver and two of the three passengers,

Brittnum was pronounced dead at the scene. Howell, as all as 23-year-old Victor Morales of Rogers and 18 year-old Breonna Silva of Springdale were treated for injuries at the Northwest Arkansas Medical Center in Springdale.

Trooper Mitchell Smothers worked the crash scene and noted road conditions were normal at the time of the accident and the weather as cloudy.
