A warrant was issued in Washington County on Friday for a multiple-time convicted felon who stands accused of Class Y Felony Rape dating back to 2016.
The warrant for Terrance Keith Crocker involved sexual contact with minors dating back to that year, with part of the crimes involving the sexual abuse of a nine year old. According to a source, one of the victims was abused from the age of nine to the age of sixteen.
Crocker, 32, has been convicted on three felony convictions dating back to a drug arrest and guilty verdict for drug possession in a 20o8 case. He drew 72 months in prison. Sent to jail in September of that year, he was out in time to get an Order of Protection filed against him in late June of 2011.
He was arrested for non-support in 2018--one of several interactions he had with with the courts involving his refusal to meet his parental responsibilities --and that arrest also caused a revocation of probation. In their wisdom, the court tacked on an additional 120 mounts of suspended sentences. A 2019 arrest for failure to appear and another revocation was good for yet another 120 suspended imposition of sentence.
The failure to put Crocker in jail the last two times he was arrested gave him an additional two-plus years to abuse his minor victims.
The advance bond amount for Crocker has been set at $45,000 by the Washington County Prosecutor's office.
