A 36-year-old Van Buren man is headed to prison for three years after a plea agreement on drug-related charges Wednesday in Sebastian County Circuit Court.

According to court records, Gregory T. Collins Jr. who was arrested April 15 of this year on misdemeanor drug and felony paraphernalia charges drew three years with three suspended and one year in the county detention center on the minor drug charge after the court proceeding.

Collins, who has a history of contempt, disobedience nd failing to appear was picked up on the drug charges in April, which trigged a petition to revoke. A Felony Failure to Appear charge was added to his charge sheet a week later, and he was also being held on a misdemeanor hold for another agency.

His April arrest marked the fourth time in less than two years Collins had been arrested on felony charges in Sebastian County.

Collins will remained jailed in the Sebastian County Detention Center awaiting transfer to the ADC for assessment and assignment.
