US Marshal Service announces arrest of Arkansas man in conjunction with Kansas homicide




Officials with the US Marshal service said Wednesday that a Pine Bluff man wanted in conjunction with a theshooting death of a Pittsburg, Kansas man was arrested by Federal Marshals Tuesday in Pine Bluff.


Law enforcement authorities say 33-year-old Jemon Allen, who is the primary suspect in the shooting death of 36-year-old Justin E Krogan in the early morning hours of August 20 of this year was arrested on a warrant out of Kansas witjout incident.


Jimmy B's Bar -Pittsburg, Kansas

Allen is being charged with first-degree murder after Krogan died of gunshot injuries sustained outside Jimmy B's Bar in the 200 block of North locust Street in Pittsburg on the date in question. 


A standard check of online resources concerning the criminal background of Allen  yields very little information.


Way back in 2014, Allen received a ticket in Crawford County for speeding and driving on suspended license and three years prior he had a failure to appear warrant for  recalled on a previous speeding ticket.


His only other interaction with the courts on Arkansas Court Connect shows he was involved in a paternity suit in Jefferson County in 2018 at which time he was ordered to pay child support to a Pine Bluff woman.
