Fourth arrest in just over six years for failing to register as a sex offender

A northwest Arkansas sex offender with a propensity for failing to register as such is back in hot water again with law enforcement after his fourth arrest in just over six years after another violation of his reporting status.

Thirty-one year-old Robby Robson, who resides in the 3700 block of North Thorton in Springdale, was booked into the Washington County Detention Center just before noon on Thursday on the felony count. Ironically, Robison currently has an open case from last December for the same crime and was sentenced to a 36 month imposed sentence in 2014 and 60 months in 2017 for failing to register.

Robison's original conviction was back in 2011 when he negotiated a plea deal for 24 months on one count of Distributing, Viewing or Possessng Matter Depicting Explicit Child Material. That arrest was in Sebastian County and his first arrest for Failing to Register took place in 2014 in Crawford County.

For failing to register in December of 202, Robison was arrested on a warrant on January 7 of this year and that case is still meandering though the court system.

Robison remains behind bars in lieu of a $2500 bond.
