According to a preliminary accident report posted by the Arkansas State P0lice on Tuesday, two residents of Springdale were killed in a two-vehi9cle crash Monday night in in Rogers.
According to law enforcement. 35-year-old Rubia Carpio Barnes was driving a 1997 Honda Civic eastbound on West Easy Street when his vehicle was strsecti0on.ruck on the driver's side by a 2017 northbound Chevy Cruz as it entered the intersection.
Barnes and a passenger, both of Springdale, were taken to area hospitals where they later died. Two minors who were passengers in the Chey Cruz, were also taken to an area hospital and treated for unspecified injuries.
The investigating officer noted the road was dry and weather conditions were clear at the time of the 8:04 p.m. accident.
