Two northwest Arkansas young adults killed in Tuesday morning one-vehicle crash

The Arkansas Sate Police says an eighteen and nineteen year-old male died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Vaughn Road in Springdale.
Officials say Oliver Jacob, 18, of Siloam Springs and Christopher Elkar, 19, of Springale were both passengers in a northbound 2013 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 21-year-old Matthew Gold of Tonitown when the SUV exited the roadway after losing control while negotiating a left hand turn and striking a ditch before hitting a a tree.
There were also three other passengers in the Equinox that were injured, including Steve Kosmes,18 Gasber Laibwij, 20, and Absen Andres--all of Springdale, who were inured in the crash. All three, along with Gold, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Detective Anja Stewart of the Washington County Sheriff Office noted clar weather conditions and dry roadways at the time of the accident.
