Two killed in head-on collision Monday night on US Highway 412 in rural Madison County

Law enforcement officials in northwest Arkansas say a man and woman died in a head-on crash in Madison County late Monday night.

According to a preliminary report by the Arkansas State Police a pickup driven by 45-year-o;d Chad Price eastbound in the westbound lanes of US Highway 412 crashed into the front of a westbound tractor-trailer rig around 10 p.m.

Chad Price of Huntsville, who was driving the 1998 Chevrolet 1500 , and his passenger, Tosha McGill, 27, from Gravette were both killed instantly in the crash

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

Trooper Jackson Little of the Arkansas State Police noted snowy conditions and wet pavement as possible factors in the accident, which pushed the statewide roadway fatality total to 528 for the year.
