Tuskahoma woman killed in one-vehicle accident in rural Latimer County

A Tuskahoma woman died from injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle accident in a rural area on State Highway 2, approximately 11.4 miles south of Wilburton in Latimer County according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to the OHP report, a 1993 Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Candace Mace, 48, from Tuskahoma, was traveling Northbound on State Highway 2 and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle departed the roadway to the left and struck a tree. The accident occurred at 2:25 a.m. according to the report.
Mace was pronounced dead at the scene according to the OHP report.
