Special Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 41-year-old John Adam Richardson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, on multiple felony charges related to child pornography.
On July 5, 2022, the OSBI ICAC Unit received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding the uploading of child pornography on a social media platform that occurred in Creek County. During the investigation, Richardson, a registered sex offender, was identified as the suspect associated with the social media accounts.
An arrest warrant was issued for Richardson, and he was taken into custody without incident today at the Tulsa Department of Corrections Probation Office. Richardson was booked into the Creek County Jail, where he is currently being held on a $200,000 dollar bond for the following charges:
* Possession of Child Pornography * Distribution of Child Pornography
