According to information obtained from the Arkansas State Police, a 21-year- old Danville woman was killed in a one vehicle accident on Monday on State Highway 27 near the intersection with Dover Lane north of Danville in rural Yell County.
According to the preliminary report from the ASP, Daisy Lopez of Danville wwas driving a 2013 Dodge Ram north on State Highway 27 when her right tires went off the roadway and she steered back to the left, over-corrected steered back to the right.
The truck left the highway on the right side and overturned several times, ejecting Lopez, and eventually came to rest upright facing west on the east side of the road.
Lopez became the 417th vehicle death for the year in Arkansas.
Sgt. Chase Melder of thee ASP worked the accident and noted the conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of he accident.
