An unidentified minor child was killed in a vehicle accident Tuesday in Johnson County.
According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary report, the minor was the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet that was traveling westbound on State Highway 164 and just before 9:00 p.m. the female victim veered into the eastbound Lane of traffic then swerved to the right and lost control of her vehicle.
The Chevrolet overturned and traveled off the roadway on the north side and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The victim was transported to Johnson regional medical center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Sr, Corporal Brian Syfertworked the accident for the Arkansas State Police and noted clear weather conditions in a dry roadway at the time of the crash.
