The Arkansas State Police released a preliminary report on Wednesday detailing a crash that killed a Paris man early Tuesday morning.
According to that report, 33-year-old David Schluterman of Paris was driving a 2005 Chevy Cavalier northbound on State Highway 197 when he lost contr0l trying to negotiate a left handed curve.
The car ran off the roadway and struck a tree on the east side of the highway.
The accident occurred at 6:30 am and reporting trooper Tyler Porter reported clear conditions and a dry pavement at the time of the crash.
