Officials with the Oklahoma Highway patrol say that a 15-year-old was killed and two other teenagers were injured in a single vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Cherokee County.
According to information from the OHP on Tuesday around 7:05 p.m. a 2014 Ford escape was involved in an accident near Hulbert on North County Line Road. The report says the victim was a passenger in the Ford and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 16-year-old driver and another 15 year old passenger were taken to a hospital in Tulsa where they both were admitted in stable condition. Police did not release the names of the victims in lieu of their ages but noted on the report that all three were from Port Gibson. None of the circumstances surrounding what caused the accident had been released and the investigation is still underway.
