According to information from the Arkansas State Police, a 58-year-old Huntsville man died Tuesday in a one vehicle accident inside the city limits of Springdale in Washington county.
Based upon information provided in an ASP preliminary report, Rodney Davis Woods of Huntsville was driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue eastbound on Highway 412 when the Nissan left the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned.
The report says Woods was ejected from the vehicle. He was declared dead after being transported to the Northwest Medical Center.
According to investigating Trooper Matthew W. Foreman, the weather was clearand the roadway was dry at the time of the crash.
Wood's death represents 54th of the year on Arkansas roads and highways.
