The Arkansas State Police say a 40 year old Siloam Springs man is dead after four vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday within the city limits of the city of Gravette

According to report on the Arkansas Department of Public Dafety website, Christopher Derossett of Siloam Springs was the lone fatality in the crash that occurred at 16136 West Highway 72.

According to the report Derossett was driving a 2007 Kia Sorento westbound on Highway 72. A 2011 Honda CRV had stopped and was waiting for the Kia to pass before turning. A 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 stopped behind the Honda and a 2005 Ford F-350 going eastbound went into oncoming traffic to avoid rear ending the Dodge Ram.

The Dodge Ram then struck two of the vehicles and the Kia Sorento rolled, landing on its roof pinning Derossett inside.

Nobody else was hurt in the accident according to the posted report. Officer Curtis R. Mullen of the Gravete Police Department worked the accident and noted overcast weather conditions and a dry roadway at the time of the deadly crash.
