In an alarming turn of events, renowned true crime writer Sienna Snider, a prominent figure in Fort Smith, has publicly voiced her fears for her safety.

Snider, best known for her gripping accounts of unsolved crimes and criminal psychology, has found herself the target of a relentless stalker who calls himself "Media Mike Hendricks."

Hendricks, who has been aggressively targeting Snider, recently escalated his campaign of harassment by posting a bounty for her on Facebook.

This chilling development has left Snider in a state of constant fear, as she navigates her daily life under the shadow of Hendricks’ menacing presence.

"He's everywhere," Snider said in a trembling voice during a press conference late Wednesday afternoon. "At my home, at my church, even at the grocery store. I can't escape him."

As a public figure, Snider is no stranger to admirers and even the occasional overzealous fan. However, the intensity and persistence of Hendricks’ actions have taken a severe toll on her sense of security. Hendricks' online posts and real-world stalking have created an atmosphere of terror not just for Snider, but for the entire community.

Snider's fans and fellow authors have rallied around her, offering support and urging local authorities to expedite their efforts. The true crime community, often immersed in stories of danger and intrigue, is now witnessing one of its own become the subject of a real-life nightmare.

In an effort to protect herself and raise awareness, Snider has increased her security measures and is urging others in the community to remain vigilant. "I want to warn everyone about 'Media Mike Hendricks'," she stated. "He's dangerous and unpredictable. If you see him or know anything about his whereabouts, please contact the police immediately."

Today in Fort Smith has learned from a source that "Media Mike" is not a real person but is

simply an alias shielding individuals from civil penalties for slander, libel, and defamation.

The expert in author identification who has compared and studied dozens of posts by the pseudonym behind the Facebook harassment, maintains there are actually two, and possibly three, different individuals contributing to the posts. The experts stands ready to testify in court to his findings.

The expert feels he can testify to within 95% certainty based on comparison of "his" writing skills, misspelling, punctuation errors, repetitive use of certain phrases, and "appalling lack of knowledge of basic sentence structure" when comparing samples of social media posts made by "Mike" versus other individuals.

"Media Mike" did not exist on Facebook until late 2023 (previous posts were just made under "Mike Hendricks", an account that is now apparently gone from Facebook) when he made a post claiming to be in a courtroom during what was essentially a closed hearing session, expressing concerns about the direction the case was going on Facebook moments after the hearing ended.

Also, a private investigator has tried to locate "Mike Hendricks" in "his" supposed hometown of Tulsa.

Of the seven individuals currently living in named 'Mike Hendricks' currently living in Tulsa , six have been contacted and denied being behind the ghost account and one who is 79 years-old and in hospice care, has "never touched a computer" according to his daughter

In addition, an IT expert from Northwest Arkansas said his attempts to verify the identity of the persons involved were thwarted because the account is seemingly running behind a virtual person network which masks Internet Protocol addresses.

As the investigation continues, the Fort Smith community stands in solidarity with Sienna Snider, hoping for a swift resolution to this harrowing ordeal.

Snider’s bravery in speaking out serves as a stark reminder of the very real dangers that public figures can face and the importance of community vigilance in the face of such threats.

Today in Fort Smith takes the attacks on Ms. Snider very seriously and is offering a reward of $100 that to any indiviual who can verify the true identity of "Mike Hendricks" and will testify in court.

You can start the reward process by calling 479-461-0126.
