TIFS Investigates: Sienna Snider Unmasks Elusive "Media Mike": A disturbing campaign targets local journalist

By Sienna Snider, True Crime Reporter, Today in Fort Smith

In a shocking development, Today in Fort Smith investigative reporter Sienna Snider has uncovered disturbing details about the elusive online figure known as "Media Mike Hendricks," a notorious troublemaker who has been launching a slanderous campaign against local journalists and public figures.

Snider's relentless search has not only exposed the imposter behind the "Media Mike" persona but has also revealed a troubling and dangerous obsession.

After months of investigation, Snider was able to track down the real Media Mike, a man who was bewildered to learn that his name was being used in such a malicious manner. According to Snider, the real Media Mike had no idea who the imposter was and expressed his frustration and concern over the misuse of his identity.

The imposter "Media Mike," who has claimed to live in Oklahoma City, has been using social media platforms to spread false and defamatory information under the guise of investigative journalism. However, an IP trace conducted by Snider revealed that the imposter's account has been accessed from three different cities, two of which are in Oklahoma, but none of which are in Oklahoma City as the imposter claimed.

The most recent and alarming development in this saga is the imposter's launch of a new slander campaign targeting Dennis McCaslin, owner and editor of Today in Fort Smith. Dubbed "DennisGate," this campaign is spreading a vicious and entirely false narrative about McCaslin, with the imposter attempting to undermine the credibility and reputation of one of Fort Smith's most respected journalists.

What began as a seemingly harmless case of online harassment has taken a dark and disturbing turn. Snider has discovered that the imposter's obsession with McCaslin has become increasingly personal and has now taken on a frighteningly sexual nature.

This escalation has led Snider to believe that the imposter may be more than just an internet troll—there are growing concerns that this individual may, in fact, be a sexual predator.

As the investigation continues, Snider is urging anyone with information about the imposter "Media Mike" to come forward.

"This is not just about protecting the reputation of a respected journalist," Snider said. "This is about ensuring the safety of our community and taking a dangerous individual off the streets."

If you have any information about the imposter "Media Mike," please contact your local police department immediately. Your help could be crucial in stopping this pervert and bringing him to justice.
