Theft by receiving, revocation triggers four year sentence for Fort Smith felon

A Fort Smith man with felony convictions in his not-so-distant past drew a four-year imposed sentence on a felony Petition to Revoke and three other Class D felonies during a negotiated plea deal session Wednesday in Sebastian County Circuit Court.

Dustin Cole Lacour, 29, muddled through a series of minor crimes and misdemeanors that started in 201o and picked up his first serious conviction in early 2019 when he was arrested in south Sebastian County for theft by receiving.

Lacour poicked up more Theft by Receiving charges in early 202o that triggered the revocation on Wednesday.

In addition to the imposed conviction, Lacour received a thirteen year suspended imposition of sentence.
