The Arkansas State Police says a nineteen-year-old Texas man died Tuesday as the result of a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday at midnight on State Highway 88 in Mena.
According to th ASP preliminary report, Brayden Wayne Autry of Aubrey, Texas was eastbound in an unknown vehicle on SH 88 on Polk County when he failed to negotiate a right-had curve and ran off the roadway. The vehicle rolled down a steep embankment before coming to rest at the bottom of the embankment.
Autry, who was lone in the vehicle, died at the scene according to the ASP.
Trooper Bo Hayes noted cloudy condition and dry roadways at the time of the crash.
