Texas couple killed in early morning accident involving Honda Civic hit by van on US Highway 65

The Arkansas State Police says a u-turn resulting in a van hitting a Honda Civic on US Highway 65 in Harrison took the lives of a couple from Texas on Friday morning.
The preliminary report filed by the ASP says David E, Rydbeck and his wife Ann, both from Millsap, Texas, were southbound on US Highway 65 at the intersection of US 62 Bear Creek Road when David Rydbeck attempted a u-turn. The 2006 Civic was struck on the driver's side door by a 2021 Ram Van driven by 34-year-olf Urangoo Elliot of Springfield, Missouri.
Both of the Rydbeck's were declared dead at the scene and Elliot was taken to the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison with unspecified injuries.
According to investigating trooper Billy M. Martin the weather was clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
