Ten months after getting free pass, Benton County scofflaw back in jail

in yet another case of slap-them-on-the-wrist and let them go free, a Benton County man who negotiated a guilty plea for Forgery/ Credit Card back in March of 2020 and was sentenced to 36 months of probation finds himself back in jail after an arrest on Sunday.


Twenty-three year-old Jay Owen Plumley was arrested Sunday on four separate charges including Harassment, Third Degree Assault, Third Degree Battery and Indecent Exposure, all of which could result in the revocation of his probation according to state statute.


Plumley was arrested by the Centerton Police Department according to booking information from the Benton County Detention Center.
