A twenty-one year-old Greenwood woman died in a single vehicle accident during the early morning hours of Sunday, according to the Arkansas State Police.
According to a report released late yesterday, Brecken Cook, 21, was driving a 2010 Ford Mustang west on State Highway 10 in Yell County when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the centerline and struck a tree on the north side of the highway.
Cook was declared dead at the scene according to the report.
The accident occurred inside the city limits of Havana at 2:05 am, according to the report. Conditions were clear and the roadway was dry.
