Sunday crash at 2 a.m. results in death of 22-year old Fayettville resident


Police officials say a a Fayetteville man died after a crash at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning on Interstate 49 South at the 52 mile marker. The accident was within the West Fork city limits.


A preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police says 22-year-old Jason Tnsley was driving a 2006 BMW 5CI southbound on the interstate when the vehicle exited the roadway to the right. The BMW then struck a tree before rebounding into a rock bluff and overturning.

The BMW landed on the passenger side and caught fire.

Official say Tisley was declared dead at the scene by the Washington County coroner's

ffice.


Arkansas State trooper Alexandria Duncan was the investigating officer for the accident and noted clear weather conditions and a dry roadway at the time of the crash. 327

Tinley's death is the 297th of the year in 279 different accidents involving fatalities..
