

A moped accident in Rpogrs accident claimed the life of a 30-year-old Mariah Chappell of Springdale on Saturday According to the Rogers Police Department.
Mariah Chappell was driving a moped on South Promenade Blvd. when she lost control and fell off, striking a speed limit pole.
The accident occurred around 1:15 p.m. near the intersection of West Walnut Street Parkway. Chappell was taken to Mercy Hospital; of Rogers where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Officer Kristin Boedeker worked the accident for the Rogers Police Department and noted clear weather and dry conditions at the time of the crash.
The fatal accident was the 30th of the year and resulted in the 33rd death of 2025 on Arkansas roads and highways.
