Police in northwest Arkansas are seeking three separate drivers and vehicles that left the scene of an accident that left a 47-year-old Springdale man dead on Wednesday.
The Arkansas State Police say Herman David Evans Jr. was on an Iceberg Scooter traveling east on Highway 412/East Robinson just after 5am this morning when he struck some debris in the roadway and was thrown from the scooter.
Witnesses told police that three vehicles ran over Evins as he lay in the roadway and that all three left the scene. All three of the vehicles are unidentified at this point and police are investigating in an effort to discern who the drivers were.
The Springdale officer that responded go the accident said conditions were cloudy and the pavement was dry at the time of the incident.
