A twenty-three year-old Springdale man was arrested on Monday and charged with Rape, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Failure to Appear charges and .remains behind bars on a $25,000 bond after a Rule 8.1 hearing this morning in Washington County Circuit Court.

Nickolus Dashundric Caldwell, who was booked under an address in the 1000 block of Oak Avenue in Springdale, was already out on bond on two different cases when he was arrested on Monday.

In August of last year, Caldwell was arrested on felony charges including Aggravated Assault, Fleeing and Criminal Mischief and on December 1 he was arrested again on Theft by Receiving-Forearms and misdemeanor Harassment charges for crimes that occurred on November 9, 2020. Both those cases are still working their way through the Washington County legal system because of Caldwell's failure to appear charges.

No details of the crime for which Caldwell was arrested on Monday have been released but given the Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor charge thee arrest most likely stems with sexual conduct with an underaged individual.

A court date of October 20 has been set on the Rape charge.
