Sex Offenders in Your Neighborhood: Twenty-three offenders live in one mile radius from fairgrounds

According to mapping information from the F9ort Smith Police Department, a one-mile circle with Harper Stadium and Kay Rogers Park is home to tweny=three registered sex offenders, including one who is currently non-compliant with his registration requirements and status.


From north to south, the area encompasses and area bounded by the Arkansas River and Kelley Highway. The west to east lines from North 6th Street and Wilma to the sport where I540 crosses the Arkansas River.


The offenders range in age from 70 tp 30 year sold. At lest eighteen of the offenders were arrested for sexual activity with individuals under the age of sixteen, with the youngest victim being just five. One man in the list was convicted of Rape after he engaged with forced sexual intercourse with a 74-year-old woman.


One offender, David Murrieta, who last known address was in the 3400 block of North 48th Street, has an arrest warrant active as a non-compliant offender.


None of the other individuals on the list are currently wanted by any agency for any sexually related crimes.
