Sentence on drug and firearm charges sends Tahlequah woman to prison withy ten-year term

A 26-year-old Oklahoma woman with a record of felony arrests and convictions out of Oklahoma got a dose of Arkansas justice on Tuesday as she was sentenced to ten years with another twenty years suspended on four drug-related counts and one firearm charge In Washington County Circuit Court.
Arria Wildcat, of Tahlequah, received the sentenced after signing a plea agreement on Possession With Purpose to DeliverMeth/Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drugs and Forearms Simultaneously. Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons/Felon and Possession of a Defaced Weapon.
She must also pay fees and court cost at the rate of $75 per month starting 90-days after her release from prison.
Wildcat's arrest by the Prairie Grove Police Department in last fall came following following a two-vehicle accident on October 3, 2020 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and Apple Hill Road.
Wildcat had to be extracted from her vehicle and Prairie Grove firefighter found a Ruger pistol in the front of her car the serial number of the gun was scratched off and officers said someone tried to alter the plate with a different number.
Officers discovered a bottle with a small amount of marijuana in it, a bag with an unknown substance, used syringes and a small pouch with a substance that later tested for methamphetamine. There were also digital scales and clear plastic bags in the vehicle.
Officers later said they found 148 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
After her third 2016 arrest in Tulsa County on drug related charges that drew community service, suspended sentences and probation, Wildcat was finally sentenced to three years total time in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections On October 14, 2016.
Wildcat awaits transfer to the ADC in the Washington County Detention Center.
