Sebastian County sends felon back to prison after his release on detainer for drug paraphernalia
A 35-year-old Fort Smith man who was returned from the Arkansas Department of Corrections then arrested on a Sebastian County detainer only got to enjoy the Fort Smith hospitality for a week and may make it back to prison before they rent out his old cell.
Randall K. Goff had returned home after a prison stay on drug-related convictions when he returned home to Sebastian County only to have to face the music for a May 29, 2020 arrest by the Fort Smith Police Department on two counts of Class D Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Ingest.
Goff, who apparently liked to Possess, Manufacture, Deliver and take drugs, steal stuff and beat up women in Logan County in a run from 2010-2017 expanded his base of operations over the last few years, splitting time between Logan and Sebastian County,
His first Sebastian County interaction with law enforcement cane inn 2017 when the same woman that filed a Protection of Order against him nearly a decade ago decided to continue that practice in 2017 in the Fort Smith District.
Since that time it has been more felony drug and paraphernalia charges, with a misdemeanor assault on a family or household member for good measure.
On Wednesday, Goff picked up two years with 18 years suspended on his C felony and two years with 13 suspended on a D felony. The charges, which were to run concurrent, also factored in some additional time as a habitual felon, bundling on some other charges.
