Saturday night rollover sends Leflore County teenager to Tulsa hospital

A 15-year-old juvenile was injured and airlifted to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition after a Saturday night rollover accident on US Highway 59, 1/10th of a mile north of State Highway 31, in rural LeFlore County.

According to a report filed by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, a 2007 GMC Sierra driven by nineteen year-old Michael Taylor,of Shady Point along with a fifteen year-old female passenger were traveling north on US Highway 59 when the vehicle exited the roadway to the left and went into the median. The passenger was airlifted to St. John Hospital in Tulsa, OK with critical head injuries. Taylor was not injured, according to the report.
