Saturday morning solo crash in Madison County claims life of Fayetteville 36-year-old man

The Arkansas State Police is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Fayetteville man this morning in a one-vehicle crash on State Highway 16 in rural Madison County.
According to the ASP, Michael Franklin Cartagena was eastbound on State Highway 16 when the 202 Nissan he was driving ran off the roadway to the north and struck a tree. The car came to rest facing west after the impact.
Trooper Keaton Ramsey noted clear weather and dry roads at the time of the accident, which occurred at 7:09 Saturday morning.
