A 74-year-old Waldron man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Friday night along a stretch of rural highway in Scott County.
According to the Arkansas State Police, William Gould was traveling eastbound on State Highway 28 in a 2016 Chevrolet Silveradowhe he ran off the road and hit a culvert. The truck rolled over and ended up on its passenger side.
Trooper Landen Reather noted clear weather and dry pavement conditions at the time of the accident.
At the time of the accident it represented the 429th statewide fatality for the year.
