According to a preliminary accident report from the Arkansas State Police, a 20-year-old Logan County woman was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle, rollover accidentesr near the intersection of State Highway 22 and Dogwood Lane in rural Yell County.
Officials say Kartie Rose Brodie was driving a 1994 Ford F-150ewastbound on SH 22 at 9:35 am when she attempted to overtake another vehicle in a right-hand curve. Brodie seemingly lost control of the truck and ran off the roadway, striking a culvert.
The truck went airborne and landed on it's side before rolling several times in the adjacent field.
Trooper Paul Matthews worked the accident and noted clear conditions and dry roadways at the time of the accident.
