A Benton County woman died as the result of injuries she sustained in a pedestrian accident involving two vehicles in Rogers on Monday, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Susan Stacy,58, of Rogers was killed when she exited a parked vehicle in the turn lane and was struck by two vehicles in the 3800 block of West Walnut Street. Stacy was struck first by a westbound 2008 Ford Explorer and then hit by a 2003 Toyota Camry traveling in the same direction.
Rogers Police Department officer David Crawford noted the conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident, which occurred at 7:28 p.m.
Stacy's death was the 477th for the year on Arkansas roadways.
