A Rogers man with a colorful criminal history finds himself in some serious legal trouble after an arrest Thursday by the Rogers Police Deportment on six counts each of Rape and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons, according to information from the Benton County Sheriffs Office.

Paul Scott Minarik, 49, of Rogers is being held on no bond on all ten of the felony counts. Minirak has previous arrests for residential burglary and theft of property and prior to his Thursday incarceration already had an open case of the books for Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution from a July 2020 arrest.
