Rock Island motorcycle wreck on Monday kills 58-year-old man from Wister



According to information released late Monday by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a motorcycle accident in LeFlore County killed one and sent another to a Tulsa hospital just after 7 p.m. Monday night.
The one-vehicle accident on State Highway 112 in Rock Island claimed the life of 58-year-old Jeffery Price of Wister and sent his passenger, Rose Price, to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa by helicopter for treatment of critical injuries.
Police say Jeffery Price was piloting a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle, westbound on the highway and failed to stop at a stop sign. The motorcycle then crossed onto Morris Loop before running off the south side of the road and striking a culvert beneath a bridge.
Jeffery Price was pronounced dead at the scene.
