This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Dangerous heat and humid conditions will continue across all of
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through the afternoon and
into this evening. Heat index values between 110 and 117 will be
common. Continue taking heat related precautions if you spend any
extended time outdoors.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY and FRIDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY...No Hazards.
EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Dangerous heat will remain a concern through the end of the work week
and into the weekend. Rain and storm chances increase this weekend
as a frontal boundary moves into the region. Initially, storm
chances will be the highest over the terrain in western Arkansas
and far eastern Oklahoma Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Low storm
chances increase across all of eastern Oklahoma and western
Arkansas Sunday night into Monday. The front will also provide
relief from the heat early next week.
