An Oklahoma Department of Corrections inmate housed at James Crabtree Correctional Center remains subject to an outstanding warrant from Sebastian County even as he serves sentences on recent Oklahoma convictions.
Darrell Joe Gabbard, 42, was received into Oklahoma DOC custody on November 18, 2025, and is currently listed as an active inmate at the James Crabtree Correctional Center.
His present incarceration includes concurrent five-year sentences imposed on June 16, 2026, in Haskell County for third-degree burglary and malicious injury to property valued at more than $1,000. He also has earlier Haskell County convictions from 2022 for receiving or concealing stolen property and larceny of a motor vehicle; those eight-year split sentences were later revoked.
In Sebastian County, Gabbard was sentenced in December 2017 on a felony case that was later reopened for revocation proceedings. A revocation warrant was issued in September 2023 and served in January 2024.
After several hearings and a cash bond was posted, he failed to appear for a revocation hearing on June 11, 2024. A failure-to-appear warrant was issued that same day, the bond was forfeited, and an amended revocation petition was filed in April 2026. Court records list the case as inactive, but the failure-to-appear warrant and pending revocation matters remain unresolved.
Because of the outstanding Sebastian County warrant, Gabbard could face extradition proceedings once he completes his Oklahoma sentences.
