Redacted police report in Fort Smith child battery incident and arrest

After a request to the Fort Smith Police Department, the incident report on the arrest of Michael Priest for an assault on a Fort Smith four year-old has been released.

Priest was arrested after the incident but was freed on Tuesday after posting $1500 to satisfy a $15,000 legally sufficient bail.

The name of the child, as well as the name of the mother, has been redacted to protect the identity of the child.

Today in Fort Smith has also learned that Priest has legal custody of two daughters, both minors.
