Boone County, AR – Earlier this week, a dramatic high-speed chase unfolded in Boone County, involving a motorcyclist and his 3-year-old child. The incident began around 8:30 PM when a Boone County deputy attempted to stop the motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Robert Culver, Jr. of Omaha.

Sheriff Roy Martin reported that the chase covered approximately a mile and a half along a county road, culminating in a crash at a residence. Fortunately, the child sustained only minor injuries.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) quickly arrived on the scene, assessed the child’s condition, and released them to their mother.

Culver was arrested and now faces charges of felony fleeing and first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor. Additionally, he is already facing felony charges in Boone County Circuit Court for Witness Bribery from February of this year.

An open charge for Theft of Property from December remains on Arkansas Court Connect, and a previous Theft of Property charge in Marion County was dismissed in September 2022.

Culver is currently held in the Boone County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond
